What is a drivers club?
A drivers club is a new concept that allows members access to a variety of automobiles. The club owns, stores, and maintains the automobiles and delivers them to members for use. This is patterned after the residence clubs and fractional private jet clubs that have become so popular. Stratos Motor Club gives its members an exclusive experience that seamlessly integrates into their life.
How do I become a member?
Membership in Stratos Motor Club is selective and by invitation only. Prospective members are requested to complete a membership application. Stratos then will review the application as certain criteria must be met, such as: driving record, age, insurance information. We select members who readily embrace our standards of care and usage of the automobiles. Stratos reserves the right to decline a membership application for no specific reason.
What are the insurance requirements?
The Members existing automobile insurance provides primary insurance coverage. Members insurance must comply with our standards and must include legal limits and $500,000 combined single limit or equivalent umbrella coverage. Most major automobile policies comply with our requirements.
Where is Stratos located?
The first Stratos club is located in South Orange County, California. We provide service throughout Southern California.
Can I share my membership?
Yes primary members can have their spouse or life partner as a designated driver as long as they meet the same criteria. Certain allowances can be made for organizations or corporations to own a membership with multiple drivers.
How many days of driving can I expect?
Memberships have a great deal of flexibility in usage periods so actual drive days will vary. A Titanium level would have an average of 40 days, Carbon 25 days, and Graphite 8 days. We would be happy to map out a years worth of driving to suit your individual needs.
What types of memberships are available?
Stratos Motor Club offers
four membership levels to suit our member's needs. The price points are $25,000; $15,000; $6000 and a custom tailored corporate plan.
How many miles can members drive the automobiles?
Stratos gives a generous annual allowance of mileage based upon the respective membership level. Titanium level receives 5000 miles a year. Carbon level receives 3000 miles a year. Graphite level receives 1000 miles a year. Additional mileage over this amount can be purchased.
How are reservations handled?
Members can reserve vehicles up to 60 day in advance through our reservation system. Member can pick up vehicles at the clubhouse or use the valet service to have them delivered to your location.
What are the usage periods?
Members
can use the vehicle for a minimum of two days during the week, three day weekends, or up to several weeks at a time.
What happens in the event of an emergency?
Should a Stratos vehicle experience mechanical difficulty, or an accident occur we provide quick, safe response via nationwide roadside assistance program.
